I graduated with an MA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of St Andrews in 2002. I am currently in the third year of my PhD supervised by Nilli Lavie.

Research Interests

I am interested in the relationship between selective attention and visual awareness. My research uses the inattentional blindness phenomenon to investigate: the role of perceptual load in awareness; the development of attention and awareness; and the capture of awareness by meaningful stimuli, particularly faces.
